Most certificates are printed on US Letter (11 × 8.5 inches) in landscape. A4 landscape (297 × 210 mm) is the standard outside the US. You can also choose portrait, a 8.5 × 3.5 inch gift certificate, a 7 × 5 card, or type any custom size — the PDF page is made at exactly that size.
Use 65–110 lb card stock or parchment paper for a premium feel. In your print dialog choose 'Actual size' (100%) and the highest quality setting. Most home inkjet and laser printers handle 65–80 lb card stock.
